But if you compare prices and add in the "extra" features of the 302 (which I think you don't really need if you have any way of treating your audio after recording) you can guess that it's significantly worse.įor recording I currently use an Alesis io26 which sounds decent enough for my needs. I didn't test the sound of the Behringer because it doesn't really matter where I use it. What I've read so far only had good words for the sound of the Focusrite Interfaces. Focusrite also makes bigger interfaces which are a little more high-end and chances are they use the same converters in the Scarlett which play the biggest part in how good your recordings sound. But I have used a similar Focusrite interface before for DJing which worked really well.
